Born in Kansas City, Kansas, Kamila Cardenas was raised in a diverse household. The product of a union between her Venezuelan father and her mother who hails from Kansas, Kamila remembers embracing her multiplicity through dance. In 2000 she became a ballroom dance instructor, forming what would soon prove to be a passionate commitment to the art of dance. Buoyed by the intrinsic reward she found successfully transforming students with virtually no knowledge of ballroom dance, Kamila decided to broaden her dance horizons. She left the ballroom world to actively pursue other forms of dance: classical ballet, jazz, modern, lyrical, and hip hop, even studying belly dancing on her own.

Determined to shape her future in dance, Kamila moved to Miami Beach in 2003, where she continues to perform full time till today. Kamileon Productions was born out of Kamila’s experience, qualification, and passion for the world of entertainment through dance. Always pushing herself as a rounded entertainer, she continues to train in all forms of dance as well as learning new forms of the art; most recent adding fire dancing and snake charming.

Through learning, teaching, and dancing; Kamila Cardenas strives to provide stellar entertainment of all types through Kamileon Productions. “And that,” she says, “is realizing my life’s purpose.”
